What started as a modest insurance repair after a storm downed a large tree onto what was originally the master bedroom became a major facelift for this grand country residence, situated on a wooded lot in Winnetka. A completely new master suite has been built, with a screened porch sitting room added and a grand sunroom addition that was built on the ground level. The many previous structural issues that had accumulated over previous years have been cleaned up, and new windows, siding, and heating-cooling systems were added, and the electrical system was also updated.
